My name is Ugochi Okonko and I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I hold licenses in both California and Nevada. My nursing career began in critical care, where I honed in on my skills in high-pressure environments, providing life-saving care to patients with severe health conditions. This rigorous background has endowed me with exceptional clinical judgment and the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure. Transitioning into psychiatric nursing, I found a calling in mental health care, dedicating my practice to the treatment and management of chronic mental health conditions. I have extensive experience in diagnosing, treating, and supporting individuals with a wide range of psychiatric disorders, including but not limited to, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, and anxiety disorders. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
